About the Event
Conversations of Hope is a hope-filled evening for those battling eating disorders, their family and friends who love and support them, and Oklahoma eating disorder treatment professionals. Conversations of Hope will be an encouragement to those who struggle and their families and also serves as a fundraiser for Oklahoma Eating Disorder Association’s mission to bring awareness, resources and support to those who struggle with Eating Disorders and their families, and to treatment professionals across the state.
We are honored to be joined by keynote speaker Jason Wood, author of Starving For Survival and founder of Orthorexia Bites. He is on a mission to elevate awareness, confront stigmas, illustrate lived experience, and change the narrative around eating disorders and mental health. We will also be joined by Dr. Ovidio Bermudez, co-founder of Oklahoma Eating Disorders Association, who will talk with us about current industry advancements.
